This suburban house’ external skin comprises of a great use of face-brick on its external skin. To create a focal point of the new addition we made use of a large symmetrical mass of in situ concrete trailed by bag-washed painted face-brick contrasting the old vs new. The new bedroom addition includes a linked private covered patio, enabling cool breezes to flow to the bedroom on warmer days.
